My Favorite Grocery Deals 3/5 to 3/11

Bashas

Frozen Foods Promo

Update: When I went to Bashas' last night, they had a sign up by the ice cream that said, limit one Blue Bunny coupon per transaction. Still, FREE ice cream! Buy 6 for $6, use (1) $1 coupon. Spend $5 out-of-pocket, get a coupon for $5 off your next purchase! If your Bashas will take more of the ice cream coupons then the scenarios below still apply:

Purchase 6 participating products and get a coupon for $5 off your next order. Get a stack of ads at Bashas because all the coupons you need are in the ad!!

First transaction:
Buy 6 Blue Bunny Personals ice cream or gelato (sale $1 each)
use (3) $1 off 2 coupons (in the Basha's ad)
out-of-pocket cost: $3
Get a coupon for $5 off your next purchase! (You just made $2 buying ice cream!)

For each additional transaction, make sure your total is $5 or above so you can use the $5 coupon from the previous transaction. If you do this right, you should have little or no out-of-pocket cost for each subsequent transaction.

Some different options:

  • Buy 6 Pictsweet Vegetables Deluxe Steamers (sale 1.25 each) Use (3) $1 off 2 coupons from Bashas ad. Throw in some gum or any other .50 item. Total will be 5.00. Use your 5.00 coupon from the first transaction to pay for this one. $0 out-of-pocket and another $5 coupon to use on your next transaction!
  • Buy 6 Blue Bunny Personals (use 3 coupons from the ad) and any $2 grocery item. Total will be $5--use your $5 coupon to pay for it and get another $5 coupon!
  • Buy 4 Blue Bunny Personals (use 2 in-ad coupons) and 2 Krusteaz Pancakes or French Toast (sale, 2.50 each, use (1) in-ad coupon for $1 off 2). Final price will be $6, use your $5 off coupon so the total out-of-pocket is $1 for 6 items! (And get another $5 coupon....)
  • Buy 4 Blue Bunny Personals (use 2 in-ad coupons) and 2 Van De Kamp's Fish 18-26 oz family size (sale 3.50 each, use (1) in-ad coupon for $2 off 2). Final cost after $5 coupon is $2 for 6 items.

You can roll these $5 coupons over as many times as you would like and do as many transactions as you want. Just be considerate of the customers behind you in line and those who may come to the store later than you (i.e. don't clear the shelves). Just buy what you have room to store and what you can reasonably use before the expiration date.

Other Bashas freebies:

Arrid Extra Dry Deodorant 1.00 each--use coupon from Feb. 10th to get it for FREE!

Propel Fitness Water 1.00 each--use coupon from Feb. 3rd to get it for FREE!

Fry's

FREE Cereal and Fiber One Bars

Select General Mills cereal, fruit snacks, and cereal bars: sale 4 for $8, plus $4 off when you buy 4 = 4 for $4!

Fiber One Bars, Total Cereal and Cheerios Cereal printable coupons here: http://www.eatbetteramerica.com/coupons/ (should be able to print 10 of each coupon!) Coupons will double to $1 and the cereal and Fiber One bars will be FREE! (Split up into multiple transactions, buy 4 in each transaction.)

Also, you can print 2 Honey Nut Cheerios coupons here: http://www.boodle.com/cgi-bin/center.cgi?config=PINCHING. Mix these in with the other cereal!

Disclaimer: These printable coupons say, "do not double or triple". Manufacturers sometimes put that on their coupons as a favor to the stores. In reality, it does not change the amount a store will get reimbursed for a coupon. Stores are always paid the face value of the coupon plus a small handling fee. Certain stores offer "double coupons" as a way to entice customers to their store. They are never reimbursed for the doubled amount. Long story short, these coupons will ring up doubled but your cashier MAY manually suppress the doubling. But .50 for a box of cereal is still a great deal!

FREE Sausage

Farmland Breakfast Sausage, sale 1.00 each. Use the $1 off 1 coupon from Jan 6th to get it for FREE!
