Fill Your Pantry Without Emptying Your Wallet!
I have been couponing for about a year and a half now and my friends and family often ask me how I get such great deals! My secret is the website Pinching Your Pennies! But for those of you who are just getting started, I will try to explain things in more detail. There are lots of items on sale every week but I will just focus on the very best deals (with or without coupons). My purpose is to help others add to their food storage without breaking the bank!

Couponing Tips
- Get LOTS of coupons (5 sets is great!) You can get them from family, neighbors, friends, or co-workers.
- Organize Sunday coupon inserts by date in file folders (I only cut them when I need them)
- Stock up on items you use when they are a good price (3-6 month supply if possible)
- Take advantage of double coupons (Bashas, Safeway, and Frys)
- Stack store copuons with manufacturer coupons (Albertson's will accept competitors store coupons!)
- Price match at Wal-Mart for one-stop shopping (remember, Wal-Mart does not double coupons or match "gimic" sales)
- Don't be brand loyal (but you can still get name brand for cheaper than generic!)
Insert Coupons
Since I don't feel like writing everything out, here is the code for the insert coupons in the list:
EXAMPLE: USE: Hormel Chili items .55/2 (4-27-08) SS-3/2
.55/2 = the value of the coupon/the number of items you have to buy per coupon
(4-27-08) = the expiration date of the coupon
SS-3/2 = the name of the coupon insert (SS=Smart Source, V=Valassis, RP=Red Plum) and 3/2 is the date this coupon was in the paper.
Clear as mud??
