Catalinas are coupons that print after your order and are for $$ off your next purchase. When I figure the final price, I generally subtract the coupon amount from the price of the items. You don't actually use the coupon on the items--you use it on other items you were going to purchase anyway. But for my purposes, to figure out the "final price", I take the amount of the coupon off the items that earned the catalina.

Here's my plan: For my first transaction, I am going to buy 6 powerade zero, spend $3 out of pocket and get a coupon for $4 off my next purchase. My next transaction will be 6 powerade zeros and one $1 filler item. The total will be $4, I will use my $4 coupon and pay nothing out of pocket. Then another coupon for $4 will print. Lather, rinse, repeat!
