My Favorite Grocery Deals 10/1-10/7
added printable coupons--there are lots of them!
Catalina Deals This Week:
Catalinas are coupons that print after your order and are for $$ off your next purchase. When I figure the final price, I generally subtract the coupon amount from the price of the items. You don't actually use the coupon on the items--you use it on other items you were going to purchase anyway. But for my purposes, to figure out the "final price", I take the amount of the coupon off the items that earned the catalina.

My Favorite Grocery Deals 9/17-9/23
Sorry for the hiatus!! I'm back!
Bashas
Save $2.00 on your next order (a coupon will print) when you buy any 3 participating Kraft products (limit one set of 3 per transaction). This essentially takes .67 off each product--assuming you use the $2 coupon on items you were going to purchase anyway.
Kraft Singles 12oz $1.99
Barbecue Sauce .99
Salad Dressing
Oscar Mayer Bacon $2.99
*Best Deal- Buy 3 BBQ Sauce for $2.97, get $2 coupon good on your next order = 3 for .97 (.32 ea)
Fry's
added Glade printable coupon
added a deal for Campbell's soup
Catalinas are coupons that print after your order and are for $$ off your next purchase. When I figure the final price, I generally subtract the coupon amount from the price of the items. You don't actually use the coupon on the items--you use it on other items you were going to purchase anyway. But for my purposes, to figure out the "final price", I take the amount of the coupon off the items that earned the catalina.
Powerade Zero 32 oz. (this week they are on sale for .50 ea)
Purchase between 9/5/08 – 9/28/08
Buy (4) and get $2 OYNSO (on your next shopping order)
Buy (5) and get $3 OYNSO
Buy (6) or more and get $4 OYNSO
*Buy 6 for $3, get $4 OYNSO = $1.00 overage on 6
Here's my plan: For my first transaction, I am going to buy 6 powerade zero, spend $3 out of pocket and get a coupon for $4 off my next purchase. My next transaction will be 6 powerade zeros and one $1 filler item. The total will be $4, I will use my $4 coupon and pay nothing out of pocket. Then another coupon for $4 will print. Lather, rinse, repeat!
Glade Catalina money-maker:
Buy 2 Glade Plug-ins Scented Oil (on sale for 1.79). Use one BOGO coupon from 9/14 Smart Source. 1.79 plus tax out of pocket for both and get TWO $2 coupons good on your next order!
Here's a BOGO printable: www.glade.com
Here's another catalina deal for Fry's: Not as good if you don't have the coupons.

Betty Crocker Fruit Flavored Shapes, any variety .50/2 (10-4-08) SS2-8/10
FINAL PRICE: $1.38 ea
plus Catalina Offer: Buy 3 get $1.50 OYNO, Buy 4 get $2.50 OYNO, Buy 5 or more get $3.50 OYNO
Final price (if you buy 6 and use 3 coupons): .80 ea
Campbell's Tomato or Chicken Noodle Soup deal:
Buy 15 (on sale for .50 ea) and get $3 off your total.
Use: Campbell's Chicken Noodle or Tomato Condensed Soups, any .40/4 (11-30-08) SS2-9/7
Final Price: 1.80 for 16 (if you use 4 coupons)
Better, yet, combine the Fruit Snacks and Soup deals (the fruit snacks are part of the buy 15, get $3 off deal too). It works like this:
Buy 6 fruit snacks = 11.28
buy 9 soups = 4.50
use 3 fruit snacks coupons - 3.00
use 2 soup coupons - 1.60
get $3 off your purchase - 3.00
total out of pocket: 8.18
get a coupon for 3.50 off your NEXT purchase
final price: 4.68 for 6 boxes of fruit snacks and 9 soups
